The Mini Merks spent some time today learning about September 11 and the brave firefighters who stepped up to help others and serve their communities.

They talked, learned, and then put their own little touches on American flag hearts as a way to remember and honor the day. ❤️🤍💙

A sweet reminder that even our youngest Bulldogs can learn about courage, kindness, and helping others 🐾💙

Today marks the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001.

We remember and honor those who lost their lives, those who were injured, and the brave first responders who rushed toward danger to save others. May we continue to carry forward the courage, compassion, and unity shown in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

We will never forget. ❤️🤍💙

Our second grade Bulldogs had a pretty unforgettable day downtown!

Miss Burris, Mrs. Kiel, and Miss Schrump’s classes headed to the Fire Museum for a day full of important fire safety lessons, hands-on learning, and a little bit of Survive Alive action!

Students got to practice what to do in the event of a fire through the Survive Alive simulation—and our awesome parent volunteers even joined in on the action!

From fire safety to emergency preparedness, our second graders learned some seriously important skills…all while having a pretty great time doing it! 🐾💙

Homecoming Spirit Day September 18th
Some of the most meaningful moments at Bunker Hill happen in the everyday.

A staff member sitting beside a student. Working through a challenge together. Offering encouragement. Celebrating a success. Sharing a laugh. Giving a little extra time and attention when it’s needed.

These moments happen every single day at Bunker Hill. They may not always be part of the lesson plan, but they are an important part of learning. Through the everyday interactions, conversations, encouragement, and support, meaningful connections are built—and those connections can make a lasting difference.

We are so grateful for the people who make these moments matter. Because sometimes, the little things are the things students remember most. 💙🐾

We’re proud of the learning happening all around The Hill each and every day! 🐾💙

Talk about doing your Bulldog Best!

Mrs. Gorske’s first graders were caught showing off some serious hallway skills—walking quietly, safely, and in two straight lines all the way back from lunch!

And while you’re admiring their awesome line-up, take a look at all those blue heart stickers! We think there’s a whole lot of Bulldog pride making its way down that hallway!

Way to go, first graders! Keep showing us what it looks like to do your Bulldog Best! 🐾💙

Spelling practice, but make it FUN!

Our students love finding creative ways to practice their spelling words! From writing with chalk on the sidewalk to writing words in shaving cream, they’re getting hands-on while strengthening those spelling skills.

We love seeing our Bulldogs find fun and memorable ways to learn!

Now we want to know… what was YOUR favorite way to practice spelling words when you were in school? 🐾💙

This group has already built such a fun classroom community, and it’s clear they know how to work hard and have a great time together. Way to go, Miss Burris’ class! 🐾💙
