🏁 The 40th Annual Bunker Hill Mini 500 was one for the books! 🏁
Our first grade students showed off their creativity and racing spirit as they designed and built their very own box cars for this beloved Bunker Hill tradition. Sharks, carriages, Ferrari's, and more...the imagination on display was incredible!
Students raced class by class, cheering on their classmates every step of the way, before our final championship races crowned this year’s first grade girl and boy winners. We also celebrated several students during our special Parade of Cars, where Ms. Wuest selected standout designs to receive art awards for their creativity and craftsmanship.
To top off an already exciting day, we held the very first Staff Inflatable Race — and to absolutely no one’s surprise, Miss Schiffli raced her way to victory!
What a fun-filled day of school spirit, creativity, teamwork, and friendly competition. Great job to all of our first grade racers (and staff racers, too)!

This morning, we were excited to announce all of our raffle winners over the school announcements — and celebrate that we achieved 100% book turn-in for the entire school! WOW!
Each student who returned a book received a raffle ticket. There was a prize package for every grade level that included a stuffed animal, 3 books, a 3-D bookmark, and a bag. Today, we drew one raffle ticket from each grade level to receive the prize package.
Teachers who had 100% of their class books returned also received a raffle ticket for the teacher prize — a $30 Amazon gift card.
What an amazing accomplishment for our entire school community. Thank you to everyone for your hard work, teamwork, and commitment to making this happen!
