The Potato Olympics are always a favorite on The Hill!

Second graders brought their creativity (and their potatoes!) to school last Friday for this much-loved annual tradition! From decorating their potato athletes to putting them to the test in a series of events, our Bulldogs had a blast cheering on their creations and seeing who would take home the gold!

We love seeing our students’ creativity shine during these fun traditions! 💙🐾

Stripes with polka dots? Plaid with a little sparkle? We’ve got it all at The Hill!

Our Bulldogs and staff went all out for Mismatch Day, proving that when it comes to school spirit, matching is totally overrated! We’re loving the creativity, the bold choices, and all the mismatched fun!

WHO SHOULD BE NEXT? Flashes Wall of Fame Nominations Are Open! Every generation of Flashes has people whose impact reaches far beyond a classroom and a school building, leaving a legacy that is generational. They lead. They serve. They achieve. They give back. And they Make A Difference.

Now, we need your help identifying who should be honored next in the Flashes Wall of Fame! The Flashes Wall of Fame celebrates individuals whose accomplishments, leadership, service, and commitment have made a lasting impact on our schools, our students, and the entire FTCSC Flashes Community.

Nominations are accepted in three categories:
* Distinguished Alumni: Franklin Central graduates who have been out of high school for at least 10 years and have distinguished themselves through outstanding accomplishments in their careers, communities, and lives.
* Distinguished Faculty/Staff: FORMER FTCSC teachers, staff members, coaches, or administrators who demonstrated exceptional leadership, character, service, and achievement.
* Distinguished Community Members: Volunteers and community supporters whose dedication and service have made a significant and lasting difference for the FTCSC Flashes Community.

Think about the people who helped shape our FTCSC Flashes Community - the teacher you still remember, the coach who changed lives, the graduate who went on to accomplish something extraordinary, the volunteer who gave countless hours, the community member whose impact can still be felt today.

Who deserves to become part of the next class of the Flashes Wall of Fame?
Nominate someone today: https://forms.gle/oJpMixhPtjv3X83R8
Nominations close: Friday, October, 30

Happy Custodian Appreciation Day!

Today we’re giving a BIG shoutout to our amazing custodians, Mr. Randy, Mr. Keith, and Mr. Zayden! Our school wouldn’t be the same without the countless things they do each day to keep Bunker Hill clean, safe, welcoming, and running smoothly.

They work hard behind the scenes, jump in wherever they’re needed, and do so much more than most people ever see. We are incredibly grateful for the care, time, and pride they put into our school every single day.

We hope they know just how much they are appreciated by our entire Bulldog family! 🐾💙

First grade had the perfect fall field trip at Tuttle’s yesterday! Our students got to pick apples right from the trees, choose a pumpkin to take home, and even enjoy a taste of fresh apple cider.

With a beautiful sunny day and plenty of hands-on fun, it was a wonderful way to get outside, enjoy the season, and make some great memories together! 🐾💙

Our kindergarteners are learning, growing, and working hard every day!

From completing their work to diving into extension activities with their teachers, our students are putting in the effort and showing just how much they’re learning. We love seeing those little “I did it!” moments and watching their confidence grow along the way!

Keep up the great work, kindergarten! We’re so proud of you! 🐾💙
