Happy Custodian Appreciation Day!

Today we’re giving a BIG shoutout to our amazing custodians, Mr. Randy, Mr. Keith, and Mr. Zayden! Our school wouldn’t be the same without the countless things they do each day to keep Bunker Hill clean, safe, welcoming, and running smoothly.

They work hard behind the scenes, jump in wherever they’re needed, and do so much more than most people ever see. We are incredibly grateful for the care, time, and pride they put into our school every single day.

We hope they know just how much they are appreciated by our entire Bulldog family! 🐾💙

First grade had the perfect fall field trip at Tuttle’s yesterday! Our students got to pick apples right from the trees, choose a pumpkin to take home, and even enjoy a taste of fresh apple cider.

With a beautiful sunny day and plenty of hands-on fun, it was a wonderful way to get outside, enjoy the season, and make some great memories together! 🐾💙

Third grade took their learning outside yesterday for their first field trip of the year!

Our Bulldogs spent the day at Southeastway Park rotating through hands-on stations and exploring topics like native Indiana birds, insects and arthropods, the water cycle, trees, and plant pigments. They also enjoyed a forest hike and Tree Tag while learning more about the world around them!

What a fun day of exploring, discovering, and learning beyond the classroom! We’re already looking forward to seeing where their curiosity takes them next! 🐾💙

Pinwheels for Peace at The Hill!

Our students created colorful pinwheels that were brought inside to fill The Hill with a little extra color as we celebrated the International Day of Peace!

Even more importantly, our Bulldogs showed just how big their hearts can be by raising $510.40 to help provide breakfast for students at a school in Haiti.

We love seeing our students learn that kindness, generosity, and making a difference can reach far beyond the walls of The Hill. What a beautiful way to celebrate the International Day of Peace! 🌎💙🐾

First grade took their learning to the OR today!

After wrapping up their body unit, our first graders got to put their new knowledge to work in their very own operating room! From practicing different skills to completing hands-on activities, they reviewed what they’ve learned while having a whole lot of fun along the way.

Who knew learning about the human body could be this much fun? Our newest “doctors” definitely brought their Bulldog Best to the OR! 💙🐾

The Mini Merks spent some time today learning about September 11 and the brave firefighters who stepped up to help others and serve their communities.

They talked, learned, and then put their own little touches on American flag hearts as a way to remember and honor the day. ❤️🤍💙

A sweet reminder that even our youngest Bulldogs can learn about courage, kindness, and helping others 🐾💙

Today marks the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001.

We remember and honor those who lost their lives, those who were injured, and the brave first responders who rushed toward danger to save others. May we continue to carry forward the courage, compassion, and unity shown in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

We will never forget. ❤️🤍💙
