Today is National Custodian and Maintenance Appreciation Day, and we couldn’t let it pass without shining a light on some of the hardest-working members of our Flashes Family!
Our custodial and maintenance teams are the unsung heroes who keep our schools safe, clean, and running smoothly every single day. From early mornings to late evenings, they ensure classrooms are ready for learning, hallways shine, and facilities are cared for inside and out.

📣 We are thrilled to welcome Matt Sprout as FTCSC’s new Director of Information Technology!
Matt brings over 20 years of technology leadership experience, including 18 years as Executive Director of Technology and 9 years as Assistant Director at Franklin Community Schools. During his time there, he led major initiatives in security and cybersecurity, developed technology partnerships, streamlined processes that cut costs and boosted efficiency, and guided staff technology development.
He is recognized for his strong leadership, problem-solving skills, Six Sigma certification, and commitment to serving educators and students. We are excited for the vision and expertise he will bring to our district!

Today, our FTCSC School Board members spent the day visiting schools across the district!
They had the opportunity to walk through classrooms, observe purposeful learning in action, and connect with students, staff, and building administrators. These conversations and experiences keep our board members closely connected to the heart of our mission—making a difference through purposeful learning and meaningful collaboration.

Happy Pinwheels for Peace Day from your Peaceful Pirates! Our students celebrated peace by making beautiful pinwheels, which they can find on the fence at recess and take home at the end of the day.
We also want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to all our bulldogs who helped raise money to provide breakfast for students in Haiti. Together, you raised an incredible $632.46, which will provide breakfast for about two months! 🐾💙#BHBulldogs #WeAreFlashes
